I'm somewhat ill-informed of John McCain, but after watching the republican debates I'm convinced he's borderline crazy.

All the want to trade are burkas! Why trade with the middle east?

Anyone want to set me straight and tell me why I'm wrong?

If you were held captive by your enemy, you would understand. =)

Yet it was Huckabee, not mccain, that went into Laredo with chuck norris to support groups like "the minutemen". Now that's borderline crazy!

I can see by these groundless insults that many of the board members will not be taking the high ground and basing the election race on issues. Unlike Hillary,I don't think Obama or McCain will take the low road, but some of their bloodthirsty supporters, as shown here, will. Sad.

Okay. I must have had my amusement filter on this morning. I just saw the Letterman insults followed by the McCain insults. I am just anxious for the discussion of issues to begin. The issue difference between McCain and Obama should be distinct. No mud will be needed.

Yup. The difference will be experience (McCain) vs empty speeches and shady associates (Obama)

Or if you like, American patriot and war hero (McCain) vs the guy who won't wear a US flag lapel pin or put his hand over his heart during the national anthem (Obama).

    Take your pick

Sorry Texxx, big John is a REPUBLICAN!!! And that brand ain’t doing so hot these days. In fact it’s so bad that even McCain recognizes it and is doing everything he can to change the subject. That’s why you have the weird ass “I’m an American’s American!” And wrapping himself in “experience.” But sadly, John McCain is a REPUBLICAN and there really is nothing he can do about that. Americans are ready for ANYTHING THAT IS NOT REPUBLICAN.

As an aside, the "flag lapel pin" criteria may be the most pathetic thing I've ever read. Must you quote that doofus so often?

does anyone really give a **** that he's a war hero? how does that make him more qualified to be president? Bill Richardson is probably the most accomplished candidate that was out there, but it's a freakin popularity contest. McCain doesnt get any points from me because he's a "war hero"

unfortunately this is how Americans decide who to vote for. not only bigtexxx, so give him a break. McCain wears a pin...vote for him.....I'd much rather have a beer with bush than a nobel peace prize winner and (if you really wanna talk about experience) John Kerry....i'll vote for bush. kerry cant catch a football, i'll vote for bush (although that was funny)

This is how Americans make decisions.

Wow, talk about no cred right there. Unbelievable. So 5 and a half years in a Vietnam torture camp isn't enough to convince you that McCain is a Patriot? Wow.

Bill Richardson doesn't have 1/3rd of the experience McCain has in foreign policy or any type of policy for that matter. Dude, you just have no cred...

as usual a simple post went over your head. try reading it again, I don't think it mentioned anything about being a patriot.

Seriously? Wow, I didn't know Obama hated America. I have to go lie down; I'm feeling faint.

I mean, not that I'd ever wear a flag lapel pin, cause it looks stupid, but that's the sort of thing that destroys a political career. It's almost as bad as having a friend who says something stupid once every ten years or so, and much worse than actually saying stupid things yourself.

This guy's a "Patriot", but I don't want him in the White House:

Obama hand picked a spiritual advisor who hates America, hates whites, hates gays, hates Jews, and equates America to the KKK and to al Qaeda. So I don't think any of us really know if Obama hates America or not. We do know that he voluntarily attended a church for 20 years that hates America and is racist and bigoted.
