ron paul NOT hillaroid clinton NOT john "my friends" mccain NOT mitt kerry...i mean romney huckabee and obama dont disgust me like the above 3, but i would still never vote for them (unless it was against one of the above 3 douchebags).
The thing about Clinton is that she has always been a socialist at heart, and certain of her comments recently have done nothing to quell those fears. Their economic platforms may seem similar on the surface, but at least Obama seems to be someone who is willing to lead with reasonable, balanced policies. Clinton, on the other hand, seemingly has this premeditated agenda to expand all sorts of social services and force wealth redistribution. She's almost Orwellian at times. Even though I'm a conservative and do not agree with Obama on more than a few talking points, I see him as a charismatic person that Americans can rally around -- someone who has the potential to be a truly great leader. And above all, that might be what America needs the most right now.
Someone who I agree with about <.02% of the time just said something I find totally profound, and I thank you for it. I agree that a great leader would be such a boon to us right now - all of us. Someone who can remind us that our human similarities are more pronounced and important than our differences, that we are all lucky to be on this planet together, and that hopefully we can make tomorrow better than today or yesterday. Hopefully, regardless of the outcome, we can all do better with each other, find our best selves and figure out a way to make better days for you AND for me, for your kids and my kids. Thank you for that post. 1. Obama 2. Clinton (by a hair over...) 3. McCain 4. Romney
