Now that I have watched a couple more episodes of the Kensei story I started wondering... What if Hiro is actually Kensei. He has the sword, and he is now in the right time period. What if he is the hero that he has always read about and White Beard, from the story, is the new villian (David Anders). It actually makes decent sense to me that this may be how it plays out.
Kensei is Hiro...note the facial hair, ponytail and roundish face: Also, doesn't Hiro fall into 1600s Japan at the end of the season Finale, the same time period that Kensei is around?
for some reason, I've grown less and less excited about this show since the season ended. i'm definitely watching season 2, but as I look back I think great show, but overkill on the suspense. I now know that it doesn't matter what happens in the season premiere, or the entire season for that matter, I'll always be left with that not fully grasping what happened, need to find out more feeling. not a bad thing, and no way they can change it...heck, it's what makes it a good show. i just haven't been pumped about its return. it'll premiere, i'll watch it, and then wait for the next week, and then when the season's over probably not think about it too much until season 3. whereas I can't wait for Scrubs or The Office to premiere, though I'm a little concerned Scrubs will have a disappointing final season, because, don't these shows always do that?
Sorry to bring this one back. But regarding the 'who is Kensai?' question posed earlier.... Spoiler I was looking through the previews on the NBC websites for next week, http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/video_display.shtml#mea=157851 and Kensai is apparently actually some random period British dude, which seems to disturb Hiro a little bit.
I watched the shower two times this summer. Once while I was at work and the other when I was trying to get my parents into it which of course they are now. Spoiler Like it has already been mentioned, with so much suspense and large story arcs, at some point the show is bound to let us down. I think the finale is the shows first big example of this. We were all expecting a huge battle scene, something along the lines of The Matrix or something, but they skipped through most of the potential and had Hiro come up from behind and stab him out of no where for an anti-climatic ending. And how could no one be freaked out that Syler dragged himself over to the sewer. Wouldn't someone have noticed, especially a police officer?? Strange, but all in all it's a great show Now a days we have about 4 great shows each week to watch, as far as TV for guys that is: Heroes The Office House LOST Although we are going to have to wait forever for the next season of LOST to come around.
