According to Sina, he was an NBA player who was like a mad man in defense but really sucked on offense.
Hoffa is Rafael Araujo...the dingleberry with a fauxhock and poser tattoos that was scrubbing it up with all the other bench warmers last night... If my memory serves me correctly he was drafted by toronto in the first round and ranks high on the all-time bust list. I don't remember the reason for the trade on Utahs part...but he is a BYU boy so maybe it was just one of those salary dump/home cookin' deals... he is 6-11 and has no game...Yao is gonna eat him up
The logical thing to do is to camp Okur beyond the 3 point line and minimize Yao's rebounding/paint presense. They can't do much to defend Yao though.
Yao will be gaurding boozer and millsap. Because Memo is a perimeter player JVG puts the PF on him. this is a good matchup for the rockets for 2 reasons: 1) they will have a quicker player on Memo to stay up in his grill and prevent 3's. 2) boozer is not quick enough to hurt yao off the dribble and will have to rely on his 15 footers. millsap was actually the most difficult matchup for yao last game because of his quickness....but because his offense is limited it really didn't hurt as that much (although he was a monster on the boards) my worry is if kirilienko and memo are out there at the same time...both of those matchups are unfavorable for yao on defense...but then utah becomes very beatable on the boards...
Two things they can get to Yao 1) Penetrating and get him into foul trouble early in the game; 2) Running PnR all day long even if it is not totally effective, so that Yao gets tired in 4th quarter.
It's 29% now!!! If Mac plays like he did in the last 4-5 games, they have no way to cover both Yao AND Mac at the same time. The total points Yao and Mac combined will not lower than 55, every night.
