Anyone see the show last night where on group night they had that guy doing the beatbox and singing how deep is your love? That was AMAZING !! My wife thinks I am crazy cause I don't want to erase it from DVR...but I have never seen anything like that ....wow ! DD

It was a great performance. But the guy wasn't beatboxing and singing at the same time.. at least I didn't see it. Seems like he did one and then the other. Seems like you might be implying that? Either way, the whole group was really good and by far the best of the ones they showed I thought
He sang as well, but they just showed the beat boxing part at the end.....3 of the 4 made it to the final 24. DD

I like Paul Kim's style, but guys with his style always seem to get bounced early on once they make the top 24. Chris Richardson seems like he could go pretty far.. and I like the way Sanjaya sounds--but I only got to hear what they showed of him yesterday, and it wasn't a lot. (sounds like he might not have a lot of range) Haven't heard much of the girls ...Lakisha has a great voice though
So what did everyone think of the guys lastnight? These three were all horrible IMO and Sundance and Sanjaya should be going home.. i thought they all pretty much sucked. it was hard getting trying to get through their songs w/o wanting to change the channel. btw, Antonella is freaking hot. she's got the natural beauty look. seen her w/o make-up a few times and she still stands out.
Aladdin and Hurley/Jack Osbourne get on my nerves for various reasons. I hope they get both are gone. I was really unimpressed by the whole group.
Sundance has the backing of the Vote For the Worst crowd, so get used to seeing him around. That's a large reason for why he's #1 in total votes at DialIdol. (Past Vote For the Worst candidates include Pickler and Taylor from last year.)
I wish Sundance would get voted off. He hasn't sounded good since his first audition. How many chances is he going to get? Well the fans supposedly deside that now. I tend to agree with the list that Da-Glyde has for the bottom 3. As for his top 2, I thought Jack Osborne did decent. The last did pretty good too. I hope the singing is better next week. All of them suffered pitch problems. Some much more than others.
There's been some backlash it seems, but I really thought Phil (last guy) was good as soon as I heard him (before the judges said so). And Blake and then Chris were on a level below. The rest were pretty bad..some worse than others. I think Sundance should go..and then it's a crapshoot. --------- Girls tonight.. infinitely better collectively than the guys. But also some really bad performances--Amy, Antonella (the one w/the leaked pics of her half-clothed on the can), Nicole, Alaina. Any of them can go. I liked Stephanie and Sabrina (though I don't think she got the greatest reviews) the most. After them, Jordin and then Melinda (quality-wise, she was just as good...maybe even better than the rest. But I liked the songs a little better, so that changed my thinking) Then LaKisha (really good..no slight having her down here) Next level, Gina and Haley with their Celine Dion songs. So I had 1 guy top and 2 guys 2nd level...and I have 5 girls top and 2 2nd level. Disparity right now..
basically, all the black girls were good, and all the white/whatever the hot one is sucked. melinda is going to kill every song she sings every week. we're going to see the same thing towards the final 6 or so this year as we did the hudson/fantasia year. all the black girls will split votes and a deserving one or two wont go through as far as they should. 3 black girls, the beat boxer, and ?? make the final 5. that's my prediction.
Wow the girls did a much better job than the guys.. Bottom two IMO should be Antonella Barba Haley Scarnato I know Nicole didnt do that well, but I'm still hoping she can turn it around with better song choices.. Best two IMO were.. Melinda Doolittle Lakisha Jones I've also noticed that for no good reason Gina Glocksen tends to annoy me every time I see her..
Antonella (or Antoiletta, as she's been named) is second in total votes, according to DialIdol's prediction list. Vote For the Worst strikes again...
lakisha jones should be the winner already, people need to stop going for the looks, its the talent that matters..
i'm willing to give Antonella a few more shots at sucking even at the sake of losing someone more talented.
Lakisha is my family's favorite - we're hoping she wins (although the Doolittle girl winning would be great, too) and not someone who looks good but can't sing like Antonella.
