But who decided to accept all those "facts". You did. He didn't do the reasoning for you. You did. It's your human reasoning, your human heart, or whatever mortal attributes that led you to "believe" He is the one. May be you are wrong all along. Just maybe. After all, you are not the only one amongst billions to claim who has finally found his or her true God, Allah, or "Satan". So don't be "happy" when your "Allah" tell you to kill someone without good explanations. So don't be "happy" to kill all gay people simpily He told you. So don't be "happy" to rape your sister, your mama, or chop your daddy's head off SIMPILY He told you so. I really don't believe the true Creator, if there is one, would appreciate blind faith from his subjects.

im not going to question anyones reasons for worship. religion can be a great thing. its not for everyone, but if it can make your life better than more power to you. however, i have a serious problem w/ religion imposing itself upon people who dont want it. you tell me that your religion commands you to kill homosexuals. i would say that is a serious imposition upon people who dont want anything to do w/ islam. live your life the way you see fit, but mind your buisness and let others live theirs the way they want (even if you dont agree w/ how they live it).

I don't disagree with a thing you said in this post... How does it relate to the fact that WHEN (or if) God decides to talk to me, I'll do what he want me to do? I decide to do things the way I want them in my life... But if one day, God tells me to be left-handed, then so be it.
My bad, that was poorly worded. What I meant to say was God's will always has a purpose. Maybe the purpose is just to test me and see if I'll do it. But there is always A purpose. I wouldn't be talking about arrogance if I were you. If I am wrong, I have wished nothing bad at other people. If there is no God, I will just die. It's a hypothetical. Do you know what hypotheticals are? Also, everyone saw the "celebrations". I also saw everyone in the streets of the U.S. beating the **** out of each other for no reason at all. You can (and should) try, but you will never control 100% of the people. There will always be the people who disagree just to disagree. The God you believe is all-loving. That sounds nice. But it really doesn't mean much to me if the God you speak of is not my creator. Lots of times, I find people picking the God that suits them rather than actually trying to find the being/entity that created them and put them on this earth.
jo mama, I honestly tried to think of a polite way to put this. I know this comes off the right way, but keep in mind I couldn't think of another way to say it: You didn't create the earth. Neither did anyone else who lived on this planet. I could care less about what other people want. If they want to be homosexuals, they are imposing on ME because I don't want to live around them. But that's not how it is, homosexuals want freedom. They want to go public. Well my religion says that neither my children or I should be exposed to homosexuality. So aren't they imposing on me as well? Again. You didn't create me. But God did. Are you Christian? What if Jesus came down to you and said that you should stay as far away as homosexuals as possible, while homosexuals are fighting for rights and all that all over the world? It's a hypothetical. I'm just using homosexuality as an example. So basically, All I care about is pleasing God and going to heaven. All my goals are in line with that. Everything. If someday my goals are outrageous, I hope they execute me so the trip gets shorter and I go to eaven, inshallah, much faster.
Did you leave the last part of that quote out on purpose? men used to marry in their teens as well. It was a different time. A teenage couple are way less likely to make it nowadays then they would be back then, which is why it doesn't happen anymore. To be completely honest, even I have some trouble identifying with some of these things... But the truth is that women used to marry at a very young age back then. He was not against marrying older women (his first wife was 15 years his senior), so I'm guessing everyone was married at the age of 15... and basically whoever wanted to get married would marry a 15 yr old. During Muslim times, the concept of procreating really fast to gain more worshippers was still going strong, so everyone was getting married left and right.
If one day, someone finds my beliefs so detrimental to society, they can execute and God will acknowledge my faithfulness to him and hopefully reward me. Better than spending a whole lifetime trying so hard to avoid any and all mistakes. Muslims who have sincere faith in their hearts are not afraid of death. (Disclaimer: suicide is forbidden.)
