I'm having a debate a friend. I don't rinse with water after I use mouth wash while my friend does. What about you guys?
Rinsing with water afterwards would be less efficient, I would think. Without rinsing with water, you would have listerine residue on your teeth and tongue that would continue to freshen breath and kill bacteria after you were done.
I don't even use listerine. The incessant need for usage of listerine is a fraud perpetuated by the man.
It is pretty simple for me: Listerine, water, dr. pepper. <- look at that white smile! I rinse with water before Listerine. /shrug
I rinse. How about after you do the listerine you go downstairs and have a nice glass of orange juice. Let me know if its the same gross feeling after a brushing.
I rinse with water. Im also about to graduate from dental school next month, so whoever rinses too...wins!
You don't rinse if it contains fluoride, so the fluoride will have more time to harden on your teeth (in laymans terms) Alcohol based listerine can be washed without any concerns.
It isnt meant to be swallowed. If your breath is really that bad, dont be cheap. Use it every 6 hours or so.
