Damn, terrible. But I can see this comign up in some crime tv series, a guy apparently dies from a gun selfie shot, but it's actually a clever set up by the real murderer.
Russia had it right: http://www.theguardian.com/world/20...on-kills-russia-launches-safe-selfie-campaign Why is the US behind on this issue!
Reminds me of this story; http://petapixel.com/2015/07/27/man...fie-with-rattlesnake-gets-153k-hospital-bill/
don't pull the trigger while the gun is pointed at your body shouldn't be something that you need to learn
Why would someone take a selfie with a gun while it was loaded and there is a bullet in the chamber. I mean what a idiot.
And he managed to pull the trigger. I don't get it. I've been to a range just a couple of times but it seemed like I had to put decent effort to pull the trigger.
so did he get the selfie or not? That would be one helluva selfie if he took it as the bullet was going through his neck. Smdh.
Every gun is different. The trigger pull rate can be 20-24 lbs on one pistol (this is typical when the gun doesn't have a safety) and it can be 4 lbs on a different pistol. Some people even cut the spring or put a smaller one in to reduce the force needed to pull a trigger. Likely this guy had no idea what he was doing. Or he pulled the trigger to take the picture instead of pressing the button on his phone. Either way the guy is a idiot and Darwin took care of it.
Wait, how do you take selfies with a gun? Like, one hand is holding the phone and one is holding the gun? I'm confused.
Ummm...anyone who properly learns how to handle a firearm knows that he first rule is to keep your finger off the trigger, outside the trigger guard until you are absolutely ready to fire a round. Even actors handling fake firearms know this crap.
