I don't think any of those players so far mentioned were the worst. You should see the list of no-names who've made it at least once. Of that list, two stinkers whose names I can actually recognize are Jeff Ruland and Steve Mix. The least talented player to ever win the MVP was Adrian Smith in 1966. It was his only ASG and he happened to have the game of his life against Russell, West, Baylor etc.
John Starks Gatling Michael Adams (him and his frog-leaper jump shot) Joe Barry Carroll Sleepy Floyd Jeff Malone Walter Davis
No way. Did Donaldson really make an all-star game?? Was that the one here in Houston?? Donaldson wasn't actually totally horrible. He had a couple of seasons of 15 pts, 10 rebs and 2 blocks if i recall correctly.
It's in Chicago: http://www.nba.com/history/allstar/boxscore_1988.html He played 8 minutes, 0/0 fg, 2/2 ft, 6 reb (in 8 freaking min! ) and 1 assist. I think he was there as a sub for an injured allstar. He was big and good at rebounding. But he's very slow and unathletic.
Please... its idiots like you who give rocket fans -as a whole- a bad image. Before Carter became injured, he put up numbers identical to that of Kobe and Iverson, while being the league's most exciting player. He is the one player, aside from Yao, who can truly put fans into seats.
I think Donaldson is the winner. ( I've never heard of him). Here are his career stats . I didnt think a 10.8 PPG and 9.3 RBG were all star worthy #'s, unreal. http://www.basketballreference.com/players/playerpage.htm?ilkid=DONALJA01
And the year he was in the ASG, he had 7.0 ppg and 9.3 rpg. A single-single avg. as an Allstar! And he had never averaged more than 11.8 ppg in his career.
