This lineup sucks what good reason is there for Rasmus 4th over Tucker? Correa just gets pitched around with Rasmus/Gattis behind him.
McHugh with 8 strikeouts, only 2 runs and it doesn't matter. Pathetic offense is pathetic. All we can hope for is another solo home run
chavez at 94 pitches, should definitely hit him here if he stays in. good outing from mchugh minus the 1st inning
McHugh started as McWalk, then became McK and at the end, he was McVeryGood He was not McGreat because pitch count force him to pitch only 6 At the end, 120 pitches 4 walks and 8 Ks
Was angry at McHugh for the first inning walks and them scoring in the first inning, but for the most part he has done his job. The offense is still the main problem with this team by far. Gomez and Jed added to the lineup has been helpful but Jed isn't able to play everyday yet. Springer is still probably not close to coming back. This is adding to the stress of the pitchers feeling like they have to be perfect. The pitching is the main reason why this team has stayed in contention but the offense may not be good enough to keep them in contention.
The second baseman was not touching the bag as he tried to turn two. We are the only ones that get screwed by those calls at second though.
Again - really bad small ball team that doesnt know how to advance runners. Hard to win close games on the road hoping for home runs,
