Yao would not fit this team at all. I think Moses would be pretty good. He could just get boards and put backs.

The background score is incredible in that video. Timeless background theme music perfect for doing basketball.

To think Moses Malone is less well known and overall revered than Karl Malone is an excruciating atrocity.

    Round Mound of Rebound!!

And Rox small ball is even smaller than the Warriors.

Barkley, Ariza, Brewer, Harden and Ty Lawson.

Things just seemed to work with him in the lineup...

The 82-83 MVP he won was when he was playing for the 76ers.

For this hypothetical discussion, would we look at just at their time on the Rockets' roster or at their overall careers?

Not that I think it matters. I would take Moses either way. But if you look at their overall careers instead of just their , guys like Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley and, yes, even Scottie Pippen would be a lot more intriguing. They were all 3 later in their careers by the time the Rockets had them.

I agree, which shows how far off Dwight is from his potential. And how far ahead of every center in the game currently Olajuwon would be.

Not just Hakeem. From our History here is a list of centers better than Dwight.

    1. Hakeem
    2. Moses
    3. Ralph
    4. Yao

We have had a plethora of hall of fame caliber big men, and that is not even mentioning the Big E as a PF.

Love this topic, perfect for the idling dog days of summer.

I'd go with a non-star to go with this current team to ease in fit-wise and for chemistry reasons. I'm split between a 2009-model Battier and a 1995-Horry.

Battier could guard 2015 explosive 3's better (and some 2's), and would be a more consistent outside shot. Horry is a better rebounder and longer, and well, he just knows how to win.

I'mmmmmmm going to go with Battier by a hair.

In the 'you would only remember him if you were a homer' category....Matt Bullard!

Had a role, played it really well, and gave Barkley crap (his salary was higher than Barkley's, which Barkley ribbed him about a lot, Bullard told him if he could actually hit his three's, then he would make the big bux too. Priceless!).

Also really liked Scott Brooks...hard to ask for a better backup PG.

That isn't really a knock against Dwight. To be fair, that is a better list of Centes than just about any team in the league. The Lakers with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain and Shaq would be the only team that would be comparable.
