He did retire their most dangerous hitter... and did his part to retire the 2nd most dangerous.

The walk to the leadoff guy hurt.... he needs to be able to get lefties out.

Feldman has 7 quality starts out of 11. Vince has 3 out of 7.

He's the 5th starter and there are a ton of off days coming up. I do not know what you people are complaining about.

Putting Velasquez in the pen for limited work to keep him fresh, and maybe/hopefully/possibly starts down the road if/when somebody gets hurt and has to miss a start or if someone is ineffectual, this seems like a no-brainer to me.

    Needs:

    1 Left Handed Reliever
2 Maybe a 1b. Why maybe? Because we could move Valbuena to 1b and Lowrie to 3b
Wishful thinking, but Tucker needs to learn that position because we are strong with Rasmus/Marisnick/Springer once we have all the guys healthy

I dont think we really need anymore changes

He thought there was still an out left. The tv graphics had gone to final score, but Ashby was like "double play completed, but Moustakas scores and it is now 4-1 Astros.......oh wait, I'M SORRY! The game is over, Astros win".

Wow we have one of the best starting rotations in the league. With Springer and Lowrie back, I would trade for 1B if possible. If no trade than move valbuena or gonzalez to 1B.

    lineup of

    Valbuena/gonzalez
    Altuve
    Lowerie
    Correa
    Rasmus
    Springer
    Tucker
    Conger/castro
    Gattis

That's a worldseries winning lineup in my opinion.

Maybe moving Tucker to DH and using Gattis/Carter in trade for another pitcher.

Made zero effort to catch Correa's throw to first... then when Hosmer makes a base-running error and tries to advance to 2nd, he badly botches the run-down.

Things will be better (defensively) when Springer is back. Hell, I know Hinch said he'd never consider playing Tucker at 1st, but with the way he's swinging the bat... are you really going to have him on the bench when Springer is back? (presuming they still value Marisnick's defense more to not bench him).

Oh sweet georgia brown, hearing that would have almost made up for hearing Ash for the other 8.2/3 innings. That is incredible.

The problem is Rasmus will probably be the one going to the bench.

Thats why Tucker NEEDS to learn the position.
