they called giving a vet min to Scola which he turned down. So yes some people know a bit of who he is targeting.
Given what we paid for Lin in the past this is an exceptional value: Great depth that doesn't impact our ability to add other pieces.
I think you're underselling Thornton. He's actually got the handles to get open and he's pretty quick. He's pretty good coming off downscreens because of his developed mid range game. I can't really speak for his defense but, based on what I've heard from Boston fans today, he was decent, just too aggressive at times.
I think it's an excellent signing by Morey. We badly needed a guard who could consistently knock down the corner 3, and that's a Thornton specialty. It doesn't solve our point guard problem, but it does fill a need, and at the minimum. As others have said, what's not to like about the move? For once I believe an agent. Thornton will be hungry to prove he deserves a better deal down the road, and he's landed in the perfect spot for that, a contending team. I await further moves in what I hope is the near future. Not waiting until the deadline to solve the dilemma at the one would make me a happy camper.
If he get playing time he'll average more points with Houston than he did with Boston. He should fit nicely for us. Great move, low risk and maybe low reward, but who knows - maybe he'll play great now that he's on a good team
Codman called this! Adelman's old stomping ground - Sacremento Kings A player who is a 2 guard like Harden but likes the rock - Thornton
If he averages closer to his career numbers (not PHX) he could be OK it this isn't going to move the needle much.
After growing up and watching Sacramento Kings Basketball because I grew up in the Bay Area. I really like this signing. This guy is a Scroer, might be a bit undersized but No Matter. #InMoreyWeTrust
I didn't see him play on the Suns at all but I suspect something to do with lack of minutes and not seeing the ball much to get going as a shooter

For a team that shoots so many 3's it was about time they found someone who can shoot it consistently and is on the south side of 30 and wont get grandpa legs in the playoffs.
