I agree with you that he is indeed a dedicated LOH. But hey, I feel sorry for the LOF whose been also involved as much as he did but instead suffered in the last couple years. Since you are going to play the game anyway, who wouldn't want to win and taste the victory but instead crying and moaning everyday? He maybe a jackass but he looks like a winner to me.
It's unbelievable the amount of vitriol and hate Lin still gets on this board after a year of not being a Rocket. I can understand hating on the LOF trolls and maybe Clutch can ban them for trolling too much, but the continual personal attacks on Lin as a person and player from some of the veteran posters is getting little too much. It's like some of the veteran posters just can't let it go and Lin consumes your mind 24-7, 7 days a week. I understand that LOF made this site unbearable at times with their blindsided love for Lin and if I remember correctly, made life for Clutch a living hell at times, and I applaud the loyalty to Clutch of ridding this board of LOFs. But don’t you think it would be better served to just let it go and ignore them? Ultimately the veteran posters continue to feed the LOF trolls and have in of themselves become the troll and make it hard for majority of the Rockets community to respect you guys. Just my 2 cents.
I used to enjoy Zboy's posts, but this is getting kinda crazy... You said he is an overpaid scrub for the last 3 years, now he is at the absolute bottom of his career with peanuts contract playing as a 3rd string backup on the worse team in the east, he got what his talent deserves so what's more to talk about? We all agree Lin = scrub, so what else is new? this thread is repeating the same thing over and over again Jeremy Lin is a hell of a drug!

Erring on the side of conservatism, let's say Bev's career in basketball is 100% done by that time. He's still made around $9M after taxes. If it is indeed just a birthday gift in collaboration with his new contract signing, I think the car is a fine gift to himself. Now if he goes and buys a mansion for > $3M later this year and then a few more luxury cars then I'll agree that he's pushing it. Richer players have gone broke, but the picture alone isn't something to freak out over.

Bev got at least 3 endorsements, he is either Adidas or Nike, and spirite I think, also the Chinese cell phone ZTE.
Chinese shoes companies do pay decent compare to Nike or Adidas. Li Ning paid Wade and Dwight well for the endorsements, but Bev does not suit their targets.
