NFL Free Agency is so much better. Quick hitting, done behind closed doors, and all you get are news of visits/signings, not random Twitter squawking from a bunch of people who have no knowledge of the proceedings.

At least we are the only smart team in these proceedings and not sacrificing depth in the vain hope of landing Aldridge. If both the Spurs and Suns lose out, they hurt their teams plenty trying to chase a pipe dream.

just got back from the court…..the only thing that could pull me away from this thread was 5on5…….should have stayed for a couple more games……LMA treating this like the playoffs with 4 rounds, including finals, and then maybe a parade?
Much trickier. Doesn't he make over 20 mil a year? How would we put together a package to match that amount? I don't want any piece of Bosh. He showed what he priorities were when he resigned in Miami. He took the money and the lifestyle which was his prerogative. But like Melo, he's made his bed and he can lay in it.
It's not enough for everyone to get their hopes up on LMA, but now let's pick the old Bosh wound open too.
Couldn't Miami just trade Deng (who already opted in)+McBob+(Whiteside as the sweetener) in a S&T for LMA?
Heat have Deng, Andersen, and Chalmers...all expiring. That's enough salary to bring in LaMarcus without trading Bosh. They're not trading Bosh at this time. They want Bosh, Aldridge, Goran, Wade, Winslow.
