I really think the NBA is changing in regards to superstars. Seems like the primo guys that are "jerks" or "a..holes" as Kobe puts it, are having a difficult time getting players to come. Used to not be that way. Guys would gladly sign up to play with other guys like Garnett/Kobe who beat on everybody they played with. Doesn't seem that way anymore. Superstars want to find other superstars that they get along with on court (sharing the basketball) and off-court as well.

I'm convinced the arrogance that Kobe and Melo constantly display is killing their chances to build a team. Both guys are shot hogs. Both guys refuse to take much of a pay cut to help their teams build right. Both guys poo-poo on their teammates. Both guys want everybody else to defend and do all the dirty work. Neither guy is a source of inspiration or encouragement to their teammates. Kobe has tried to duplicate Michael Jordan's demeanor and game and he has failed on both counts. There's no Scottie Pippen twin a..hole out there to play alongside him. Probably the closest he had was Ron Artest. But I watched for far too long Kobe slapping around Pau and how he dissed Shaq to not think that that attitude doesn't affect other players wanting to come in.

Both guys are killing their franchises right now.

 

He made his bed, now he has to lie in it.

 

Screw that guy. He probably doesn't even really care. He'll just act like he does. Melo is all about the $$$

 

He actually feels bad for him I think.. Really trying to help him.

Shams is a mini WOJ and WOJ is really helping him.

It's almost nauseating to try and listen to Houston sports radio all they do is rehash what ESPN says for the most part ....the Rockets have no chance San Antonio cleared Space for Alldredge by moving splitter so that means they definitely getting him
