Umm, normally this sentiment is right, but his playstyle is exactly like Parsons. It's a great comparison.
what the **** is morey thinking? He better have a plan for this offseason and actually execute this summer. i have had about enough of all this analytical management bull****. jerian grant/tyus jones were sitting there waiting for us. grant could have contributed right away. dam it morey dam it. dk how much longer i can be a rockets man with this math man running our team.
i like the pick. Dude can play and he's the BPA and you ALL should know by now how Morey does it. Could be trade bait, or replacement for Brewer. He's a motor dude and this team needs more motor dudes, and the chance of Brewer leaving, this pick just makes sense. If they can't get Sergio to sign, this team just got better.....if not. Team still got better. Again...I like the pick.
Makes sense. He provides insurance in case we don't resign Brewer. And assuming he plays(you never know with McHale and rookies), he'll be behind Ariza(and possibly Brewer), so there's little pressure on him. I can't see Morey handing the reigns of this team to a rookie PG, so not picking one at #18 doesn't surprise me. That being said, Morey better have a PG lined up somewhere.
Not too excited about this pick, but not a bad one. I think the Rockets are confident they can get a PG via FA, so no need to spend a middle round pick on one. I think Dekker could be like Brewer. High energy wing player that likes to run, make straight line drives, and can get hot from 3 occasionally.
No way Ariza/Brew/KJ/Dekker are on this team in October. Someone is gone. Hopefully Morey has a TJones/KJ/KPap trade for Lawson or Lowry...or Ariza is gone for a chance at Love/LMA
ESPN: "You've lived in Wisconsin your whole life, you can throw out some of those coats because now your going to Houston" Decker: "Yea, thank God" Lol, at least he's got a sense of humor
Do people think the Rockets could just draft a PG and that PG would be starter quality immediately? What is a bigger risk? Selecting the best talent, or selecting a PG in hopes he could provide major contributions immediately? Why do that when you could potentially acquire an experienced and proven PG instead (Llull or a PG through trade?)
