With Afflalo opting out, you gotta wonder if Morey would be more inclined to deal Ariza for a max contract..... Morey could sign him early...

    It's gonna be a crazy off-season..

I think it's tomorrow of I'm not mistaken. I would love to have love here in Houston. I can't remember what thread or who posted it but somebody had mentioned Dwight and James windows are totally different. We must build around harden right now. He's a MVP player and this is his team. I do not trust d-mo in big time games in the post season in big time moments against big time competition in seven game series. With Dwight I know he was potentially the best big man this post season but and might get flamed for this but I feel he can not be our 2nd option anymore. I love Dwight and I know he plays his heart out but for some reason I feel like he's just a big question mark going forward as far as health. Harden needs a running mate for years to come and I don't think it can be Howard anymore. I would just love to get a young running mate for harden and Dwight take the back seat and be the 3rd option.

    Love is most likely to:

    1. opt in to the final year of his contract and then be able to force a trade this summer. (75% chance he opts in)

    or

    2. opt out and sign a 1+1 contract that allows him to opt out again next summer. However if he does this he can't be traded until Dec. 15th, which makes a trade for him much less likely even in December or at the deadline. (24.99% chance he does this)

    or

    3. opt out and actually sign a long-term deal. (highly unlikely he does this)

    75% chance he opts in.

    25% chance he opts out.

And it may be closer to 95/5 that he opts in vs. opting out.

The odds are almost nil that he signs a long-term deal this summer. It's less money than he can get next summer. And he loses control. I have to wonder if Cleveland will even offer him a 4 or 5 year deal if he opts out.

How much does it cost to find out which is right? Can we buy your inside info a piece at a time or do we have to subscribe to the newsletter?

What he said was Love is highly likely to opt in, of course what he'll claim he said is probably not quite that
