I did, but I didn't post here then. I was super high on him fairly soon after we drafted him. I saw that he had potential to develop into something special because even then his post game was pretty far along. Also at the time, I was tired of having teams like the Lakers push the Rockets around with Bynum, Odom, and Gasol so I wanted a bit of size at the PF spot.
I think DMo will, but that's a good question. Mirotic is younger, and doesn't have as much experience in the NBA so he's harder to project but right now DMo's the better 3 point shooter and he's the considerably better post player. Ask me again a year from now and we'll both have a better idea.

If he has any value on the trade market, I would rather package him for an upgrade at any position and roll with Dmo/Smith/someone else.
I guess production in the regular season is only irrelevant for Jones in this case. In DMo's defense, he's never actually had a highlight in the playoffs though.
In his defense, to his detriment I would say. The guy has hardly played any playoff games....the only ones he lost in the first round. He is still stuck in the first round.

I don't know why. Leonard actually had a pretty good series against Memphis for them. And at 23, he's the same age as T-Jones so the whole argument about potential is a wash.
They have an identical skill set, hell they even both wear Kobes. If we made this trade its literally trading black Terrence Jones for white Terrence Jones
This would be a horrible trade for us. Myers isn't half the player Jones is. Jones has way more upside
This wouldnt be a horrible trade for us just for the simple fact the leonard can hit the 3 ball and will space the floor for harden and is still on a good contract for one more year after this. i do agree that jones is more talented but i would still do this trade because we dont need tjones and he doesent add anything extra to this team
