I think you are right. I think Harden was bought off in game 3, and then whoever was paying him thought they might not need to pay him again. Harden's big game last game was to prove that he needed to be bought off, or the rockets would win. He showed what he can do when he tries. The people that pay then obviously realized they needed to buy him off again, and therefore tonight's sleepwalking and tricky point shaving at the end.

    Good catch.

lol you're definitely in denial if you think the warriors were scared enough being up 3-0 that harden alone would bring the team to win 4 straight against a team that they swept during the regular season.

I will end my posting on this site until August for various reasons. Thank you, everyone, it was a blast and I wish all of you in Houston, including my family in the Spring area, a SAFE and DRY summer. Cheers!!

And yet it was without Harden that we beat the Clippers in Game 6 in the first place.

Dwight has been the most consistent player in the finals. He's already 29 and might not have many good years left, so it's very important we build around him.

    LOL.

Honestly, I'm not angry with losing in the WCF. 2nd in the West and the WCF are legit accomplishments given the circumstances this team faced.

I'm just angry that the guy I went to bat for as a legit superstar and MVP crapped himself in the limelight.

The team will get better, and James will too (although I doubt to the degree the Kobe/Shaq/Hakeem/Dirk's of the world did after getting punked in the Playoffs)... hopefully good enough to nab a f***in title.

    good post.

though i was kinda prepared for our season to end tonight, it still felt more empty when it actually happened.

i hate to say "i told ya". trust me, i'd feel a lot better if i am wrong on this one. but tonight (and this playoff run) it only convinced me more that harden cant be the #1 guy if our goal is to win it all. we may win a lot of games, but chances to the title isnt too good.

for those who said harden is already the greatest rocket besides hakeem,,, you either havent seen enough bball, or you just need to think again b4 making a bold statement like that...

chill. i'm still a little sad at this moment...

Of course the warriors werent afraid. I dont think THEY bought him off. Thats not how sports betting works. The groups that make the large wagers and manipulate the spread are the ones who would buy off a player. They dont care about titles - they are just business, maximizing profits. Perhaps the NBA realized it would lose million if houston advanced, and they had someone buy him off. Our it could have been people in vegas. Or it could have been the illuminati. Who knows. Not the warriors, obviously.

Dwight's post-game interview going on right now.

I think Dwight isn't happy with some of the players on the team.
Emphasizes that he wants guys back that will fight and never give up.

When asked about if he wants all the guys from the core back, he stated said he wanted the fighters back.
He has really been emphasizing that fight and heart.

    Poor Dwight.
