These pictures are from a game on July 31, between Chinese NT and the visiting US team.

    Same here, lancet. :)
And he DOES look bigger. Lets hope it doesn't slow him down... or wear him down, for that matter. I guess the report that he needed to LOSE some pounds might have something to it!

Ya know, sometimes I'm saddened that he has to bust his ass during the summer rather than getting some much needed rest. The poor guy is gonna get burned out way before he should.

that has got to be the worse defense played in the history of the united states team. horrrrible!

i'm happy that yao is starting the balance his upper body with the lower. i remember reading the atlanta journal constitution a while back when yao came to town... bosh (when he played for georgia tech) said something about yao looking like a tyranosaurus (sp?). he'll get his serving.

    18ppg 10rpg 4apg 2bpg. That's my prediction for Yao next year.

    Is it realistic?

He definitely looks bigger. that seems to be more mass in the chest and trap areas along with bigger biceps. Even if he's lost some speed, that strength should help him endure the bump and grind of the NBA. He is already much quicker than most NBA centers.

Seriously, I can't blame Bosh for that, because he was right, IMO. The guy must have had the thickest legs in the league, yet his arms were like Keon Clark's or something (well, not that bad, but you know what I mean). Now though? Damn! His upper body does look balanced with his lower! Next season officially can't start soon enough! :D

heyheyhey! seriously, is that really his gut? this guy's belly is sponsored by yan jing.

yao needs to play above the rim!!! stop with this finger roll bull$#%@!! in the nba that would be swatted by earl boykins, and that could be slightly embarassing...

he does look more jacked up. watch out shaq-diesel, here comes yao with a backhand slap...
