I Think the Reason he chews it is because it's flavored , if I remember correctly

He definitely got sponsored by a flavored mouthpiece manufacturer, but I think he's been chewing on that thing even before he came into the league.

I always thought of it as a nervous tic like Lebron biting his nails, Kawhi rolling his tongue, Nash licking his fingers, etc

    No big deal

It's really obnoxious imo, especially since they do a close up on his face 20x a game. He also chews on his head towel and his fingernails on the bench

Yes man. It bugs the hell out of me. I've always read it as - "i'm so relaxed, i can do something casual while i play like chewing my mouthpiece". So yeah - arrogant, cocky. I'm sure he knows he does it and to me, it looks forced and on purpose.

There is not enough trash talk in this thread.

Curry's mouthpiece is a glorified binky. He'd prefer his mother to be on the court with him but the mouthpiece will do.

I don't think it makes him look arrogant, he just looks like a baby. Too bad we can't do a Mavs emoji with the .

He chews on it with it dangling bc its a marketing tactic. It is required in his contract.

I really hope we are the aggressors in this series. I wouldn't mind seeing Ariza, Smith, Brewer, jones ect. give some nice shoves just to send the message that we aren't scared of these punks.

I figure it's their secret weapon for when they're not playing well. Have Curry slobber all over the court, and they get free timeout to strategize while the refs stop the game to swab the deck.

This... But compared to Draymond Green, Curry's mouthpiece will be a non issue. Which it already is.

Draymond Green has the potential to earn a spot in the pantheon of hated Rockets opponents.

Curry chewing on his mouthpiece all game pisses me off so much. Not sure why, but it just really annoys me. We need to send in Dorsey to pick up some hard fouls and just knock him around.

They all deserve to get sucker punched in the face as soon as that tongue comes out. Look at those pictures of Klay and Curry, imagine us being down 25 points and them showboating all over the place. There is a 90% chance this moment occurs in this series. I'm ready to hate these guys now.

We beat Griffin's mouthpiece. Now we are going to beat Curry's.
