This is true, can somebody put up a list of guys that are from the North East vs Southern California? I notice that at the beginning of round 2 the only ESPN guys that picked Houston were the Miami and Dallas reporters.

 

That really should be grounds for dismissal, Jon Barry walked off the job during the rally.

 

That's what they had to do this morning....On ESPN they to use the 790 feed because there was NOTHING Jon Barry and Mike did that believed they enjoyed what they were seeing.

He was unbearable. Worst than Skyler and Marie from Breaking Bad.

 

I don't mind criticism when we play bad, but good lord this took it a step too far. He was straight up rooting for them. Most unprofessional game call i've heard in a while.

I've read some comments about how Barry used "we" when referring to the clippers at one point. Does anybody have a video of it, or could point out when it occurred in the game?

I have no clip or text to back it up, but I seem to recall a season or two ago of him doing one of our games and complaining about JVG's coaching style, and how hard he worked the players... seemed to indicate his time here under him was miserable because of it. Not sure that's it, but it was the first I recall him acting like he didn't care for us in some way.

 

Usually I think it's just like a persecution complex and announcers/refs aren't actually against the Rockets.

But for Jon Barry it's 100% true. The commentating was insane. So one sided. He sounded heart broken when the Rockets won.

 

Why are we still talking about this. Who cares, we won, on to game 7!

 

If he were still a player, I wouldn't mind him getting an injury.

He's a warriors fan. How he calls those games are almost infinitely as bad as this.
