He just needs the right kind of guys around him. Seems like teams are much more willing to harass Howard underneath than to stick with Terry, Brewer, or Ariza (And of course Smith). They know he's going to score one on one if they don't. The Clippers are really doing a great job switching on defense and it's making it really freaking hard for the Rockets to get their offense going

Everyone who claims Dwight is disinterested should get their eyes checked. He has the toughest assignment of all the Rockets in this series and is playing the best under said circumstances. The man is working his tail off for those numbers. Think again troll op,and shame on anyone who is feeding that POS.

I'm not saying this is his fault. He's just starting to look disinterested possibly because of how the team around him is looking disinterested and are also playing like scrubs.

I am just glad I rolled out of bed today and learned that Dwight Howard is a role player in the NBA

Do I feel sorry for superstars who never won NBA? No. Why? Because you can't feel sorry for max contract guys. If they wanted to win NBA real bad, they wouldn't sign max contracts, leaving less money for supporting cast.
I don't imagine Dwight complaining about his teammates, that would be unfair.

When your best player looks "much improved," you know you're in trouble!

If he's really opting out, now would be the perfect time to trade him for Demarcus Cousins

An idiotic thread based on nothing but the OP's inane babbling. As if our situation isn't depressing enough already, we are confronted with stupid threads from people jerking their knees so hard that they'd need a wheelchair to go to the toilet. If they had the intelligence to use a toilet. With all respect due to the chumps.

Dwight Howard is the most useless "star" player in NBA history. The guy has no spine.

We only score 28% of the time we throw the ball into him in the post. Ur posting up a 50% free throw shooter and horrible passer out of the post. Now he can't score against DeAndre at all.

Ah like he was going to demand a trade after the Portland series last year? I remember those idiots talking out their butts then, and now a new bread has split from them this year. Second in the west, tons of injuries, losing to a good team in the second round, and we've made no progress? This is also the most success Dwight has seen with a team since Orlando made that run. But yeah... he's opting out. LOLZ

Dwight has been our best player the last 2 postseasons. Also its kind of hard for him to do his job when he's surrounded by bricklayers. Just double him or hack him if you get beat. Sure's hes probably not worth what he is getting paid, but hardly anyone is these days. I'll take his heart and will any day.

He's gotten worse, and he's still taking way too many.

The guy just doesn't get his limitations.

Dwight gets a choice, go out and set a screen or post up? know which one he chooses? know which one he should choose? are they the same?
