i know this is superficial... but i can already tell Mchale has no depth in his interviews. usually just spouts meaningless generalities with no details. we need a smart coach who can actually come up with different strategies on the fly, no this dumb ****
even with an allstar lineup at all five positions -- that team, no team, will ever get to the nba finals with mchale as head coach. never.
the owner hires the G.M, and the owner was content with not winning a playoff series and moving out of the 1st. He wanted an exciting brand of basketball, he thinks he's already done it all and is just cashing in.
we have no answers with Blake, and Harden is not shooting the ball well. josh and jones both are sleepwalkin, terry can't hit a wide open 3s, brewer turned ball over so many times, i think we are in deep trouble.
WHAT? They've ICED the PnR. They've switched it. They even blitzed it. And for a 3 minute span, they played full court defense. The only thing they haven't done is double the post, but they did that in Game 1 and Griffin carved them up because of it.
He did a great vs an inferior mavs team, you can't deny that. But no chance he lasts past this series

This isn't all on McHale. The players aren't trying. Except for Brewer, they are lethargic. Something is wrong that we don't know about (yet).
coach...im no expert in basketball strategy but i can see your plays have been so stagnant. it has always been the same. I can even read where the ball is gonna go after the play is setup...no wonder people say we are predictable. Coach...you have to know that talent alone is not enough to win. You do make adjusments but they can counter it easily. Its almost like highschool basketball.... come on coach, its a bit too embarrasing.
I wish I could dig my post from January 2014. There is no chance the team will win a championship or come close with mchale. Its the least coached team in the playoffs.
