Are the Rockets still popular in China post-Lin?

How do the fanbases compare to LAL, CLE, etc over there??

I sometimes wish we could fill Toyota Center just for one game with all the Rockets fans in China! I bet they'd be in their seats by tipoff, too.

I'm just go ahead and say that most Lin morons are probably all Chinese Americans that don't watch basketball and live vicariously through Lin

Chinese Fans that followed the Rockets since 2002 would never bandwagon a mediocre player like Lin

It's nice to have loyal, international fans of the TEAM. Thank goodness. That's a breath of fresh air.

I'm so grateful that a certain someone didn't get the opportunity to make mistakes in the first round again, and then have his fan base torment the rest of us.

We certainly would be the favorites to win it all if Yao were still with us, teamed with Dwight at some capacity. Can you imagine?! The Omer project didn't work too well, but that's because Asik can't jump or shoot from beyond 5 feet (freethrows excluded).

I wonder who international fans want us to play next. The Clippers would be a fun series, but my gut tells me that the NBA and The San Antonio Flop Squad will be seeing us soon. Bring it.

James hasn't played his best playoff game yet, nor has Dwight.

Gotta love this team. Though, I have to pray for patience when analyzing the decisions/behavior/mannerisms of another certain someone.

I'm on my Jay-Z subliminal disses today haha.

    One love.

I think so. I was in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago and got to watch the Rockets Game 1 and Game 2 vs. DAL while there at a hotel.

I tried to catch the POR vs. MEM game and SPURS vs. CLIPPS game and no dice. Was not on TV at all haha.

Agreed on James, though he had a very good 1st round playoff series turnout, it just feels like he has more to give.

Howard though, I think he gave some of his best. He isn't going to dominate offensively in the same way as much, I think. I like that. He's gobbling up rebounds -- don't forget his 26 rebound game -- and reducing his post ups, favoring more P&Rs. He even had career playoff high's in steals I believe.

    loyalty is underrated these days.

I really think back to how the Rockets have evolved over the last few years. It would have been hella easy for anybody to decide to cheer for the Heat, Lakers, or anybody else if they didn't have an attachment to the city.

kudos to the fans who are sticking around

The greatest thing is that they don't just stick around, they legit understand what this victory meant for us. There are true rockets fans halfway around the world, think about that for a second.

    Respect.
