I take it he came up with the "king James" pic and tweet after we beat the cavs? This was the talk of sports networks for a couple days afterwards. Seems he did a great job - provoke, entertain, get people talking. No?

Are people sharing this? Get it out there while the story is hot. Need someone famous to retweet to blow it up. Maybe Bun B? I doubt Jim Parsons would.

That account was fun to follow during rockets games. He was always dropping something funny or edgy. Now its just going to be a boring heap of emoji poo

That was a good move buy rockets. It was very stupid thing to tweet, and it's not about emojis, but about graphic description of shooting a horse. In times when society is against violence against animals, praising the thing which was a normal thing centuries ago and has still beeing practiced by some people is just stupid. I don't want to have a ticking bomb as a PR manager, who knows what else he would post.

If this post made you angry, as an apology, here's a video for you to enjoy.

I think the metaphor he was going for here was shooting a dying horse, which isn't really animal cruelty. It is putting a suffering animal out of its misery.

Yeah, it was a bit crass, but I can't imagine why anyone who understood the metaphor and the playful trash-talking context would be really offended by it.

I get your point. I myself was not offended by it, but what I want to stress is as PR manager you should know what messages will bring bad attention from society. If he does not have this knowledge then it's better for a rockets to hire a better PR manager which would even benefit us as fans.

Think about him as a baketball player. We all like to say this player plays **** and so on. And we are happy when we waive/trade him and find better replacement. So explain the difference between staff/players?
