Give me Barry and his almost 60% TS and 45% from 3, along with Mutombo. Barry and Wesley, great pickups by CD.

I agree. Harden's role players are much better than tmac's. If Mac had a josh smith brewer t jones dmo bev etc. who knows how some of those seasons would have gone.

I would pick Mutombo, and then I would pick Mutombo again.

Role players only? Okay, Mutombo and Tracy McGrady.

Capela reminds me more of a young Mutumbo than Dream

I think Dikembe was more than just a role player in his prime

I picked the 05 team because we also played the Mavs that year in the playoffs.

Everyone should have Deke. That's easy.
#2 would be Sura. Only other #2 I see as an acceptable answer would be Wesley. Wesley could drive, shoot and guard the perimeter.

Honestly, for THIS team, I think the only easy answer is Deke.

After Mutombo I think you can make a perfectly acceptable argument for Wesley, Sura, Jon Barry or even Juwan Howard.

I think I'd go Deke and Wesley. It's tough for me to pass on Jon Barry because I think his shooting would be killer on this team. Even though I didn't really like Wesley on THAT team, I believe he'd be a great fit next to Harden.

During the regular season we played 9 different point guards:

    Bob Sura
    Mike James
    Tyronn Lue
    Charlie Ward
    Andre Barrett
    Rod Strickland
    Reece Gaines
    Moochie Norris
    and Brandin Knight

Vin Baker also played 3 games. Great stuff CDawson! No wonder we needed Morey.

I think that was more JVG than Dawson. If you look at our moves and players during JVGs tenure, we recycled a BUNCH of OLLDDDD Knicks players. Mostly to fit JVGs system, although he didn't really have an offensive system. Post of Yao or give it to Tmac.

Random/ sorta related, but who's gone to the Yao Ming restaurant on Westheimer and has seen the Charlie Ward celibriduck in their display case? It made me Lol. Fun fact, the only ex-Rocket PG with a Heisman Trophy
