quick question. if i download the app onto my phone or mac, can i use chromecast it to stream it to the TV? is there an option for that on the app?

also, i watch rockets games online, but even for below quality streams, i still experience lag.

i'm curious as to whether my internet is fast enough to go ahead and try out sling as i'm experiencing lag watching games online.

What about games after they already air? Because of time difference live isn't always an option.

Assuming you're talking about SlingTV, no ballstream. That speed is more than enough to get a smooth stream.

There is no chromecast support however. The easiest way to stream to your tv would be to commit to 3 months of slingtv for $60 and get a free Amazon FireTV stick. https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId=1002997141&sa-no-redirect=1&pldnSite=1

Take advantage of 7 day free trial to see if it lags or not before you pay money. The trial should get you through game 4.

I used ballstreams for last years playoffs, it was pretty good with 720p quality on my pc.

For jailbroken iPhone/iPad users, you can download the GameTime app and use a tweak called Flex 2 that lets you watch ALL games for free (no blackout restrictions), ad free and in 720p. You can even watch archives of the games in case you can't watch the live stream. And if you have an AppleTV or an Apple HDMI adapter then you can stream it to your TV.

Your internet is plenty fast for Sling. There is no Chromecast support.

You can use PC (use an HDMI to your TV if necessary), Amazon Fire TV, Nexus Player, Roku (including Roku Stick), and Xbox One

I just bought sling. It's 21.65 a month and it looks pretty good. It's about the equivalent picture to league pass. HD, but it's probably only 720p by the look of it, maybe just 480p. Way better than juggling online streaming feeds. The 21 bucks feels like I'm paying for confidence that it will work well.

    I'm pumped!!!! Let's go Rox!!

If you do download the app for the Xbox One then they give you one month free. Sling TV has exceeded all of my expectations.

The problem may be that my computer is too old and slow (internet speed should definitely not be a problem), but I tried watching the game last night with the Sling TV free trial, and it sucked. I was only able to watch maybe one-third of the game, it was choppy when it came in, and the screen kept blacking out and going into a never ending "Buffering" state.

I got the Sling free trial last night too. It was ok & you could definitely ONLY use 1 device with it. :-\ I was just trying out the app on the phone to see how it was & it kicked me off the stream I was using to project.

I too had problems with connectivity & quality dropping while on wireless, but when I went to wired, it was better. Quality still dropped occasionally, but it was serviceable. I might only use it for a month to get thru the playoffs.

For all you looking to watch ALL the playoffs on HD. Just get ballstreams
Constant HD or SD streams. Home and Away feeds. Quality is almost close to actual HD. There is minor lag at times but it's watchable.

Theres a playoff package right now to watch all games for 30bucks I believe.
Been a member for two years and it honestly the best option for watching NBA when you don't have actual cable/satellite.

Only downside; registration is closed for new members but, I can get you in by sending a referral. Just hit me up let me now.

So I don't believe SlingTV "legally" streams these games within the $20/month. Not trying to be a party-pooper.
