Ban-worthy. I am disappointed in you for this.

Can someone confirm this? If the Rockets being the 2nd seed and Clips being the 3rd seed, how would this playout in the second round having the same record with the Clips. Remember, having the 2 seed because of being a division winner is one thing (first round match-up), but in the second round, does the seeding matter if you're facing an opponent with the same record as you but they had a better conf record (assuming head to head was even).

The same tie breaker rules applies to every round of playoffs.

    Per http://stats.nba.com/playoffpicture

"For purposes of home court advantage, ties will be broken pursuant to the procedures used for breaking two-team ties for playoff position."

    a. Two Teams Tied
    (1) Division leader wins tie from team not leading a division.
    (2) Better winning percentage in games against each other.
    (3) Better winning percentage against teams in own division (only if tied teams are in same division).
    (4) Better winning percentage against teams in own conference.
    (5) Better winning percentage against teams eligible for playoffs in own conference (including teams that finished the regular season tied for a playoff position).
    (6) Better winning percentage against teams eligible for playoffs in opposite conference (including teams that finished the regular season tied for a playoff position).
    (7) Better net result of total points scored less total points allowed against all opponents (“point differential”).

Pelicans have beaten Spurs 2-1 this season. The one game the Spurs won..the Pelicans had it in the bag but Asik accidently tipped in a last second alley-oop attempt for the Spurs which sent it into overtime. Spurs won by 2 at home. Granted all these games were earlier in the season, I still think they match up quite well, especially with Pelicans playing for their lives. It's going to be at New Orleans too.

    Why are you disappointed?

It's a clip that should be played over and over and over again. Especially in the Rockets locker rooms, at time outs, at halftime, at anything.

It's got to be a motivation booster. I know it would fire me up.

This is agree with. That gif should piss everyone off. I would have that on an endless loop on the locker room flat screens above the lockers too. I have ball boys playing it on their ipads at shoot around.

I was just kidding. I hope if they play Portland it gets shown on their big screen a thousand times. That gif will always sting, though.

    Right now...
    2nd: San Antonio (55-26)
    3rd: LAC (55-26
    4th: Portland (51-30) [Division Winner]
    5th: Houston (55-26)
    6th Memphis (54-27)

Here's hoping SAS and LAC take an L. We have to win against Utah.

nothing matters if we don't win against Utah, we will be 6th if we lose, unless by some miracle Memphis loses again.

I am personally content if we get to play Portland as the 5th seed

I'm not afraid of playing the warriors in the playoffs, they have to beat the best to be the best.

I'm not afraid of any of these teams. What I'm afraid of is not having HCA.

Congrats to the Rockets for claiming the #2 seed in the west.

Now, the opponents seem to be almost set. Dallas in the first round. And depending if the Grizzley's hold on to beat Indy, it appears it will be the winner of the Clippers/Spurs in the 2nd round.

All home court advantage through the 2nd round.
