This week has not been good at all.

Rockets will be lucky getting out of the first round.

The Rox needed at least a split from the Spurs this week so I feel this past week was a failure. Winning out would salvage the end of the season and at least possibly get the Rox home court. This week, like I had a feeling, really exposed the major flaws of this team (coaching, free throw shooting, TOs, execution, etc.) and I believe the flaws would have still been exposed even if the team was fully healthy.

This year's team is in far better position to advance past the 1st round than last year's team because of DEFENSE. All those close losses to Portland last year -- any number of defensive stops would've won us games.

I really hope Howard can make a massive impact because losing two rotation players with whom we won most our games is not such an easy thing to shake off. Unless Howard is playing 30+ great minutes a game - and right now that looks possible - then this team can put up a fight in the second round.

Right now every PG is killing us. I think Howard will play 30 next and our defense will really improve these next few games.

Offensively, I feel like Howard has been doing wonders for us just by sticking to put backs, hook shots and pnr. Teams have struggled to guard him, even while he's shaking off the rust.

Our starting line up should be

PG Brewer for defense and bringing the ball up.
    SG Harden
    SF Ariza
PF Smith( Jones might be better off the bench)
    C Howard

What defense? I've not seen it lately, we've dropped out of top 10 actually..

People suggesting Brewer start at PG, come on now..

    Thanks I wasn't aware.

Add an extra game for us since we don't have a single tie breaker.
