No they didn't. Any sane basketball fan knows why the Rockets lost.

We were still in position to win even after 21 missed FTs and 20 turnovers.

We just can't execute well defensively and sometimes offensively when Harden is not on when it counts at the end of the 3rd and 4th quarter

HINT HINT: Don't miss 21 free throws and turn it over 20 times

AKA: Things a professional basketball team should be able to easily accomplish every single night.

Seriously - the spurs didn't beat us. WE beat us. And it hurts.

It sucks that we fell from #2 to #6 in a matter of two games, but we've still got three games left to play and everyone is still all bunched together. All things considered, we can still finish higher and our coaches have a week and a half to plan/implement some strategies for situations like hack-a-smith/dwight/whoever-else that will come up in the playoffs.

If Josh will not miss 14 FT, he will not have the chance to shoot 26.

Making 12 out of 26 is not the main reason we lost, 20 TOV is a much bigger problem.

The good news is now the rest of the season is largely stress free. Hardly even care about these last few games.

Rockets will earn respect in the playoffs are get mocked all offseason once again. I guess we'll find out what they decide to do.

Honestly. Only way for these guys to get better at free throws in game is to shoot the free throws with complete seriousness while in the actual game. Have the mentality that missing one is unacceptable.

just thinking of how bad we are at free throws makes me feel like this will be the sole reason we get eliminated in the playoffs. the entire NBA is on watch now and will try this same stradegy against us in the playoffs. between howard/dorsey/smith they have so much to go after.

If you don't think that was a blown call at the end, I might have to question your sanity. Sure the turnovers, miss free throws, and terrible coaching put us in that position, but with all that we still had a chance, and it was taken away by the officials.
