Tried the ESPN trade machine. The Shved / Prigioni trade only works when Hardaway is included.

Yeah, but why trade for a guy that doesn't want to be here?

The future? What about the present? We still have Dwight, Dmo, Smith, and one of the best players in the world?

Teams that are about now don't make trades either, see the Hawks or GSW making trades?

I think the Rockets weren't so desperate to make a big move knowing that this team could still do some damage.

Yeah, you're right man. He's not terrible. I hate his on ball defense though. I do think he plays "team-ball" well, and he MAY distribute better than PB.
Who knows, maybe he'll be better than we think.

I have a feeling Dwill is about to get Bought out. He would be a good pickup on a cheap deal. We need another big man also.

Well the Bucks liked the guys they got from PHX and they got the Lakers pick which could be top 10. That's better than anything we could offer.

I'm glad Morey didn't trade for Dragic since he would've been a rental. But it's frustrating that none of these other PGs who were moved were acquired by the Rockets. Maybe the asking price was too high, but any one of those could've helped, especially Knight.

I just don't know what the plan is for this offseason though. Morey's hands are kind of tied. If he's got his sights set on 2016, doesn't that mean he has to let Smith and Brewer walk? What about the NOP pick? If the Rockets keep the player they draft, that's more cap space they've committed.

And that's to say nothing of the Dwight situation. God only knows what his status is going forward. And if he doesn't opt out in 2016, that'll pretty much blow up all of Morey's plans.

Between this post, and the one where you said you weren't excited for this season anymore (in a year where we're 36-17, 3rd in the West), you seriously need to back away from the computer for a little bit. Go outside and get some fresh air. It's a beautiful day!

If Dwight was truly done they'd have traded for a significant C. Morey's not wasting Harden's MVP season if he wants him to re-sign.

I actually agree lol...but thats not a good thing.

I am done with waiting for morey to make the big move. I am not even sure if rockets care about winning a championship.

I am not a sky is falling bandwagon fan. You just dont waste an MVP season when you have a chance to contend.

Rockets still need a decent PG to contend...rockets still have no back up Center...maybe no starting center either.

This was the year you go all in...

Instead we get to keep our picks and draft another Royce White or Morris twin.

Id be more excited if rockets had an even decent history at drafting mid range draft picks.

Once again. All the predictions are moot. Morey goes out of left field.

Every year, every single time. Even Mr. Everyone Is on my Sig BBHollic didn't predict this one.

Morey & Hinkie really keep the NBA trade deadline interesting.

Trying to envision the Sixers starting line up tomorrow:

    SG - Jakaar Sampson
    PG - Jason Richardson
    SF - Robert Covington
    PF - Franklin the Mascot
    C - Nerlens Noel

This deadline was the epitome of calm before the storm. Then, the storm came and brought a bunch of teams shiny new PG's and our house just got blown to the ground. And the storm relief crew gave us KJ McDaniels and Pablo. Yeah, that's what this trade deadline was like to me.
