You mean being in the lottery heading into the final year of Durant's contract? That won't have the entire organization on edge.
If KD returns home and teams up with Wall and Beal, that team can be what OKC should have been if Harden stayed. Actually, I would think that team would be better than OKC since Wall is a willing passer and actual point guard, as opposed to Westbrook. Wall is more than happy and capable of averaging 12+ assist per game. Add that they would be playing in the East and they should be guaranteed Finals appearances for the next 5 years.
Jennings career high 20 assists. His play has been the biggest reason why the Pistons are winning. Got the ball out of Josh Smith's hands!
Jennings has been playing out his mind lately (save for that Hawks game) and now he drops a 20-20. Dude has always had all the potential. He can be a really amazing player if he keeps this hot streak up. As an extension of what you said, this is one of my big gripe's with Smith. Even in transition, he takes the balls out of Harden's hands. In Detroit he took the ball out of Jennings's hands. We've seen what happened as soon as Detroit dropped his ass.
Totally agree with you. I hope he realizes he isn't as good of a playmaker as he believes for the sake of his next contract.
I agree but a big knock on him is that he shoots too much and doesn't get the ball to KD enough. I think Wall would be more than happy to gather all the assist and pass to anyone freely.
They seem to be trying. Managed to get a 25 point lead back to 14, giving the blazers a legit chance to come back.
