Codman is this "homecoming" something that will change our fortunes in a major way or is it something more akin to last year's Hamilton signing?

I could see Francisco Garcia and/or Aaron Brooks returning but I really wish the post was about Dragic.

Funny thing to say as someone looking in and posting in the unofficial insiders (or not) thread.

    Cuttino = Lefty
name doesn't have to be Kevin = not trading for Kevin Love
Homecoming = Dragic used to play for us.

With my great deducting skills I believe we're getting Lin by the trade deadline.

Why would you buy a Toyota when you could buy a Ferrari?

I think there is significance in repeated mentions of cuttino. Does he train with anyone or a trainer for someone? who is saul bop?

I think the love talk and mentioning Kevin right? Can be some sort of sarcasm or backhanded way of saying we are trying for love and he may be available. But if its not Kevin there is no other player loved as much as dragic.

Homecoming could man k.love with mchale or dragic coming home.

    My attempt:

    Not Kevin Love.

The setting for "Save the Last Dance" is Chicago. Only two players stick out:

    1) Aaron Brooks, for obvious reasons. Maybe we trade for Brooks and Chicago resigns Robinson?

    2) Nikola Mirotic. Was "drafted" by Houston. Teammate of Sergio Llull at Real Madrid. "dance to a different beat" could be a reference to him being a foreign player.

If the deal is for Mirotic, the only player I think Chicago would want is Ariza, and I don't think we would be ok with that. We could always work a 3 team deal. Something like:

    CHI In: Luol Deng
    CHI Out: Mirotic, AB, Mohammed

MIA In: Capela, TJones, Terry, NYK 2nd
    MIA Out: Deng

    HOU In: Mirotic, AB, Mohammed
HOU Out: Capela, TJones, Terry, NYK 2nd

This is actually a very intriguing trade possibility. I think all the teams win with this one too.

Nothing I have found supports your designation of the requisite $s. Rubio, Faried etc are untouchable not targets for a salary capped team like Rox. Knives, Lakes? OK.

Some in Rox organization are scared Dwight may need microfracture surgery.

There is no scenario that brings Mirotic to Houston that does not involve Harden, not even Howard who would be something Chicago does not need.

They have been waiting for him for 2 years, they have him under control on a rookie contract, he is every bit of what they wanted, I would say even better.

I can`t find a single reason for this to happen
