God, our offense can look so fluid sometimes.

 

That double team off the pick that Harden splits for the vicious dunk really was a great defensive sequence for the Thunder. Perfect example of "Good D meets better O"!

Our bigs continue to play well off each other. It's kind of sad that the best passer behind Harden is either D-Mo, Howard, or Smith.

 

That Harden/PF pick in roll in the middle of the floor is lovely. Harden is so good at that pocket pass when the defense tries to trap off of that play. All of a sudden its 4 on 3 and the PF just has to a) take it strong to the hole or b) hit the three point shooter in the corner.

So simple, but virtually impossible to stop.

So glad to see Rockets finish a game out and not allow Thunder to come back and beat us.. like other times.

And just as a side note, I've gotta say, our lower bowl fans suck out loud. When Harden split that double team, and went in for that nasty jam, most fans didn't even get out of their seats. They just clapped like it was a regular basket. In places like Portland, Golden State, or OKC, that would have brought the house down. I'm sure the upper bowl fans were going nuts, but unfortunately their passion doesn't leak down to the lower concourses.

 

That's because they are corporate fans. They are not actual basketball fans. To them, it is just another type of entertainment. For a lot of us, it is what we grew up with, dream about, and breath. That is why we get rowdy!

 

Harden's driving passes and hand-offs are so slick. Half the time, I don't even realize he doesn't have the ball anymore until the recipient is putting it in the basket.

 

So good...so so good

 

If only Dwight would PnR more... Sometimes I get annoyed thinking about it. PnR between H and H is so devastating.

 

Never seen so many banked 3's in a game in my life.
