And it goes both ways until we learned to trust him. Looking back I can't believe how many "wtf" expressions we got on trading Alston for Lowry. Meanwhile most fans were overjoyed that we traded a lottery pick for T-Will. So he has his "no NO... YES" moments as well as his "YES... yes??? NOOOO!!" moments.
I will tell you that when Mario Elie squared up to shoot his kiss of death shot I was saying, "noooo!! nooo! yessss!!!" We didn't have to have a 3 in that situation. Freaked me out. Great moment!
newbs need to really be educated about OT <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/djsachV08Ic" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I have vivid memories of OT trying to run the fast break and that never ended well. I'm not hating on Otis' game.
Wait, OP put Otis Thorpe on his list?? Thorpe was like one of the most efficient players on this team, and never played outside of his comfort areas on the court. He was about as steady as they come. In fact, that Rockets team was FULL of guys who understood their roles, and NEVER over-stepped their bounds. Maxwell was the only wild card, but on a team that has Dream, Kenny Smith, OT, Cassell, Horry, and Elie, you need one of those guys.
Not much to "Yes!" about with Lin. His "Yes!" moments comes after a few games of "No, No, NO, NOOOO, %$#%$%#Q@!"
Ron Artest is a really obvious one. Those pull up threes. Mad Max, of course. Asik when he would occasionally flash a relatively nimble passing touch on the roll. Mind you, he had to catch the ball first.
