You do know it's still early in the season right? You do know it's still December right? You do know there's at least 5 more months to the season left right?
Yeah. There's this thing called chemistry, and it doesn't happen overnight. Having said that, I hope Ron-doh and the Mavs never develop it.
They don't have 2-3 years of Dirk left. When they got Kidd, Dirk was still in his prime/late part of his prime. And they were able to build the right team with three point shooters like Peja and Terry with a good perimeter defenders in Marion and Stevenson. Even Kidd was Ray Allen compared to Rondo in terms of three point shooting, too. This current Mavs team doesn't have that, especially defensively. Their core of Rondo/Ellis/Parsons/Dirk/Chandler is basically it for Dirk's career if they resign Rondo this offseason. They have little room to improve the team.
It's an NBA forum and the Mavs are an NBA team with an owner who has made our team's front office his target. I think it's worth the discussion. Is it costing you something?
Especially true when the thread is named "Chandler Parsons as a Dallas Maverick" and has over 2100 replies. Posting "who cares" in a thread in the NBA Dish is one of the absolute dumbest things that happens on Clutchfans.
Getting outplayed by Matt Barnes = ouch. CP: 12 pts, 3 rebs, 40%, -20 MB: 18 pts, 6 rebs, 54%, +22 Mavs could have used much more from the SF position in this game. Whew, so happy to resurrect this important thread.
same can be said about us. We had an extremely soft schedule to start. If we were playing to our ability we should only have 4-5 legitimate losses right now. Dallas isn't going anywhere this season. But i do think dirk does have another 2-3 years left in him. Never liked the mavs but i've always been able to respect dirk as a player. The dude is one of a kind.
The Mavs have played 20 of their 39 games against Eastern Conference opponents. No other team in the West has played the East that frequently. The Mavs have played only 9 games against teams that would make the playoffs in the West (they're 1-8 vs. those squads). The Rockets have only played 12 of their 38 games against Eastern Conference opponents. The Rockets have played 11 games vs. teams that would make the playoffs in the West.
man Kings should have won last night. oh well, i hope that OT game tired the Mavs out for Denver tonight atleast. Come on Nuggets...beat this team up.
That 1 win was against the Spurs in one of their giveaway games (no Duncan,Parker,Ginobilli,Leonard or Splitter) Simple fact is that Dallas plays no defense. They added Rondo, which will certainly help, but Nowitzki, Parsons and Ellis are very bad.
