This guy gets it. Lazy, unmotivated and unsuccessful people are that way whether they smoke weed or not.
I for one have experienced some of my most vigorous workouts while high. I'm in very good shape and health, smoking is just something I do like someone living the same lifestyle might drink a little bit at night after their day has concluded. It's all about the person and lazy people will be lazy regardless. I think when you evaluate the safety of any substance, you have to consider 1) How does it affect the users body? 2) How does it affect anything around the user? When you look at pot, I don't feel confident in the "negative" effects being true, when it was a highly successful propaganda campaign against it that caused its outlaw in the last century. It's been used nicely for thousands of years people.
I was expecting a poll. Having done extensive amounts of both, I can safely say I prefer drinking to weed and I'd much rather be drunk than high. Just a personal preference, although if weed wouldn't disqualify me from working for the DoD (likely where I'll spend at least part of my career) then I'd still toke.

Why does it have to be a battle? I don't smoke anymore (but I would if it wouldn't get me fired), and i drink occasionally. I think both done in moderation are completely ok. Arguing about which is worse in the extreme cases is stupid. Both are horrible when not done correctly. That's why they are called vices....when taken to an extreme level both can be extremely damaging to people. Especially with the amount of people in this world that are addictive and can't control themselves. If I'm hanging out with my friends at a bar watching the game I'd prefer to have some beers. If i'm at home about to play video games or watch a movie with them i'd prefer to pass a joint around.

Sure they probably would, but I believe the market would be different than tobacco. You don't have guys opening up stores to grow and sell their own tobacco that you can roll. With mar1juana, your options wouldn't be limited. You can buy the Marlboro branded mar1juana joint if you wanted or you could pick out a strain and roll your own joint. Or you can cut everybody out and grow your own, then you'll know for sure what you are smoking. Speaking for myself, I only **** on drinkers who **** on smokers. Bunch of hypocrite assholes.

Yeah, I feel you. There are plenty of those people too. You do you GanjaRocket. I have nothing against mar1juana, I just don't smoke it. Last time I did, I couldn't function at all. Just sat on the couch and couldn't move and that was it for weed for me lol.
Apparently I've done more research than you. Show me some research reflecting that different kinds of weed affect people differently. I agree that different people respond to weed differently.
