so here it starts. Kidd will be wine and dined off the riverwalk from sunday to tuesday. Then, Jermaine O'neal comes in on wednesday (July 9th) for a day or two. They both reportedly have scheduled visits to dallas as well right after. man, an anyone else here in houston startin to feel a little left out? this is where the fun begins...

how on earth do u realisticly think o'neal is coming to houston?
he would sign with san antonio, do a sign and trade with dallas, or above all re-sign with indi. i think its a little farfetched to be that confident he'll be coming to houston. i dont think he's even scheduling a trip here.

Kidd's staying in New Jersey, and O'Neil will stay in Indiana.

All I can say is that it must be good to be a San Antonio fan right now. Your team just won the finals and now the team is agressivey going after Jermaine Oneal and Jason Kidd.

Jermaine might stop in Houston, w/o telling anybody. We have been pursuing him. If not for David Aldridge, we wouldn't even know it.

But would he come here? Would he want to force a sign and trade (so as not to leave Isiah high and dry)? Or is he just making sure he gets the max by visiting other teams?

who would the rockets be able to give that could be useful to the pacers? obviously steve and yao are untouchables, and i hardly think cuttino is anywhere near adequite for o'neal.

The deal that David Aldridge leaked mentioned Cuttino, Cato, Mo, whomever, although I think Cat and EG would be the principals in any such deal.

I think we should have learned our lesson in the past not to trade all of our role players to add a third supertar. There is only one ball to go around. Although, thinking about it, Jermaine probably needs less touches than cat. ;)
