I really like how aggressive Smith was. Only Harden and Howard are as aggressive as Smith was, everyone else just passes it to Harden/Howard if they don't have an open shot. Not a bad thing...I'm just saying, it's nice to see someone else create off the dribble.

Not as sick as the homer-ism. TJ is better than Josh Smith, who's been on all-star teams? Okay, sure buddy.

I thought he was awesome. There were about 2-3 shots that were bad, but a lot of his misses were just bunnies at the rim. I thought he attacked the basket well and boarded hard. Good stuff for signing this morning.

Don't be arrogant in your opinions! Jones is a young guy with Josh Smiths potential. I don't know about that 251lb business either. Smith is a MUCH stronger than Jones. Plus, who says Jones is done with this team? If he comes back this season (a big if i think) he will contribute off the bench.

With the depth and versatility on this team, there's not a team in the league we can't beat in a playoff series!

    Nice facts,

Terrence Jones is a career 73% shooter at the rim and has been every season
Josh Smith 67% and has a lot of seasons in the low 60s

Josh Smith consistently higher turnover% then Terrence Jones

Consistently lower total rebound % and lower offensive rebound %

    1 out of 5 isn't bad though.

Smith is a better player than Jones now, but Jones is still a very good player. He will get plenty of playing time when he gets back, assuming he makes it back/isn't traded.

LOL but hey Josh Smith has been on all-star teams so he must be better right.

Not like Kobe has way more votes this year than Harden or anything

Uh no Tjones ceiling is Josh Smith. They are similar players but Smith is a 100X better defender, better passer, better rebounder and better creator. Jones probably has a better jump shot.

What sucks is Jones was having a career year when he looked like he could take that next step before he got injured.

And Josh Smiths defense didn't take huge jumps until his third season and it is pretty much indisputable that Terrence Jones has a ****load more offensive talent than Smith.

If it wasn't for Smith tonight, we wouldn't have won > FACT

Harden's great game wouldn't be enough

JSmoove is an excellent passer. Tjones couldn't even spell "pass".

Smoove defends. Tjones doesn't even grasp the concept.

    This.

Alot of people here, have a "what have you done for me lately" attitude. Right now, people are dumping on jones.

Just watch when smith inevitable has a bad stretch of games or starts jacking up shots. Watch how this board overreacts and throws a b**** fit about how josh smith sucks.

    It's in clutchfans nature.

Remember all those monster games Jones had in the playoffs last year?

    Neither does his mom.

So I guess because of two games where a very good player got hot, we should just throw a 22 year old who is a safe bet to be better than J-Smoove away?

    Nice thinking.
