Arguably yes. I looked at the depth charts in the league, Memphis is scary, Somehow GSW is a great defensive team? and Chicago/Indiana of course.
I think O'Neal would value a potential championship more than playing time? We could nab him and promise him a small role. We could do the same for Ray Allen.
I doesn't feel like Tjones is coming back anytime soon, but at least with the acquisition of Smith he can take his time coming back and work on getting in game shape before he plays
Never thought Houston was keeping TJones or DMO past this season. I feel they still have some growth but the time to sell is this or next feb.
Yup... just check out the pass in the first highlight shown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF7SE5kETlw Love the weakside offensive rebound putbacks. Heck... getting another player that plays above the rim. Awesome.
It would have been better to sign him for 2 years though right? At that price I'm sure. Do we have the cap space to sign him to a reasonable contract next year, assuming he plays well?
I sure hope they make that dude EARN a spot in the Starting lineup. Homes does not deserve ANYTHING given to him. His reputation is that of a lackadaisical player. I believe that if he is given anything but a uniform and water, he will take it as a message that he can coast. This also gives the Rockets the opportunity put out a BIG lineup with Howard, DMo and Smith on the floor at the same time...add Harden and Ariza and you have a huge team. Spacing would be a problem on the O end but if Smith and Harden matchup with the opponent's 1 and 3, we have long team.
Morey coming in like This to Dwight http://youtu.be/Xem4mpvZwrA Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Jingle Bells !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know much about the cba, but my guess is that he will decline his player option and take the MLE over the BLE. Or maybe a team could pay him more, but next year hes still undercontract with the Pistons. Again not sure
