Look at his PER 15.35 in 33rd/50 place hardly bottom in of the barrel in the league. Lin can definitely play in the NBA.

Seriously speaking, he always plays like crap in the second game of back to backs on the road. During the height of Linsanity when Mario Chalmers shut him down in Miami, that was coming off a game the night before. He has no legs coming into these games. I'm sure someone will go through a bunch of games to find an exception to prove it's not true but that would just be an anomaly.

 

I question people here who still refer to "Linsanity" like it was some type of MVP season.
Linsanity is the anomaly , Lin being an inconsistent player is not.

i never understood players that suck on back to back games. Like jeez as a professional athlete you can't play 35min 2 days in a row? I'm pretty sure teams don't practice in between so players can rest.

Hey I agree, no argument here. I did give him the benefit of a doubt for nearly a year after his surgery before I came to that conclusion.

 

Because I'm sure the ball you played back then compares to the level of basketball that professional NBA players do. I'm sure you also had to travel between your back to back pick-up games.

Lin is an average player by virtue of his inconsistency, he can play well and he can play awful, but when he plays awful, its really really really awful, without having the ability to go all jamal crawford on his "good" games.
