his gametyle has completely changed from the first couple of games, normally he would be shooting at least 20 shots In a game this bad. He's been to passive the last 3 games and that thing on his shoulders obviously helping treat that injury

Isn't that just a compression shirt or something? Lots of players wear weird stuff, is there any actual reports about him being hurt?

He was fine in the Philly game.
    He's just slumping hard.

He is passive because he cant get into the lane and his whole game changes.

OKC and Memphis dont let you get easy layups

In terms of shooting he had been slumping from the beginning of the season. He's just not getting the calls he got in the first 5 games or so.

    Phew!

At least it's not the "Harden went to club" excuse. ;)

I don't know what happened to his shot, but it is completely broken right now.

The guy is shooting sub 40% since the playoffs including FIBA. This is one prolonged slump unless there are other deeper issues.

Fwiw I'd take Curry over Harden

A high shooting % doesn't matter as long as he's getting opponents in foul trouble and hitting alot of FTs...

Who wouldn't? Curry is one of my fav players. Harden is good, but he's not on Curry's level.

honestly the whole team is flat 7 road games out of the first 11 games that is insane and dwight and harden have been playing 40 mins a night they are tired and need some rest. everyone is overreacting to this loss

If he's injured then he should sit out. If he can play, he can't keep throwing up 30% shooting nights.

He is playing in a system where the coach doesn't believe in him and needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

Oh, HARDEN? Never mind. Thought we were talking about somebody else.

I seem to recall he started off last season with a similar slump. He's actually doing fine at the rim, but the jumpshots (both 3 p and midrange) are killing him.

Road games against crappy teams. Outside of this one and maybe the Heat one, although the Heat just lost to the Pacers and Bucks so really they're not that good either.
