And...without any moves to bolster this roster yet....

Yes... handicapping sports used to be one of my vocations, but alas...I haven't been able to exercise that part of me in quite awhile.....

man i would love a win to temporarily silence critics

but it's not gonna happen. we've been playing poorly and it's a b2b. Pencil this in as the second loss.

    Biggest challenge thus far.

Win, and our record will be more justified.

Loss, and we'll look more fraudulent.

Though game, but we can win. Comes down to how well we can limit Randolph or Gasol. I'm not worried about both going off because of Dwight, but how about the guy he isn't guarding.

The only game we lost, Howard didn't play. Howard's playing, therefore we win!!

In the OKC game, we shot 37% inside 8 feet, 28% from 8 feet to the 3point line, and 20% from 3 point range.

Where exactly are we supposed to shoot from?

Ugly or pretty, we go for the win.

I guess our guys shouldn't care for offensive or defensive stats. The only statistic that matters is the W. This is the mentality that will prepare us for the offseason (yeah, I know, long way to go).

I'm in the hill country WNW of SA & just checked tonight's tv lineup. I have the Rockets/Grizz game on DirecTV channel 674 (RTSW) & I'm getting the current programming on that channel now.

    Enjoy!

We need DMo to play tough confident on both D and O, and for the bench to give the starters the rest they need.

I'd say Canaan gets to play tonight because of the match-ups and hits several threes.

I'll take a close game that we play decently in. Last two games have been just brutal to watch.

    No way we win. Sorry.
And a close game means nothing. Memphis games are always close

Here is some information for you guys...

Last year, the Rockets did not win both games of a road back-to-back at all. Not once last season.

The Rockets have already done it twice this season, but that was against the Lakers and Jazz, and then 76ers and Miami. Easy competition.

Tonight, the Rockets will be playing the Grizzlies. Much stiffer competition. They will be playing them on the road, the second game of a back-to-back, 3rd game in 4 nights, after a tough physical game against OKC, while in a shooting slump, while missing a starter in Terrence Jones who would be very helpful against Memphis' front line.

Long story short, the Rockets don't really have anything going in their favor for this game. It would be a HUGE victory if the Rockets won this game.

I'm not going to say we can't win this game, but we won't with anything we've seen so far this season. It will require shifting to the next gear for sure.

They better start moving the ball again. The last two games have been terrible. They must have drank the water and ate the worm while in Mexico. Maybe the hangover will be over by now.

Let's kick off Root Sports Southwest with a win!

We need Ariza to go back to draining crazy 3s, and we need Harden to find his shot. Unlikely, given our schedule and opponent... but it could happen.
