Overall, some encouraging things today: Mallet showed some things, Cushing making plays, Clowney's presence on the field, Bullock, and Alfred Blue was big time.

Ryan mallett is a backup qb they said.

He was beat out by garapalo they said.

Fitzpatrick gives the team the best chance to win they said.

Mallett is not mobile or accurate they said!

    Lol

Mallet looked good but huge credit to the offensive line. Rarely any pressure at all on Mallet today and we ran for like 200 yards. Line was outstanding.

Offensive line looked good cause of malletts quick decision making, pocket awareness and quick release.

fitzpatick has made the offense look horrible.

the thing with mallets accuracy, some throws were a bit low but catchable, wrs dropped a few catchable balls. the throws that tailed away looked like a db was closing in so he might have thrown them a bit wide.. his deep ball was a bit underneath, possibly timing since arm strength isnt an issue.. also when he setups for that deep ball, he just flicks his wrist and the ball flies.. also he can make throws in tight windows, i was surprised with how accurate he was when he needed to be. the ref saved him on one but a couple of other throws dbs were whiffing.. good first start..

True. I believe having better QB under center helped everything. Fitz held the ball idiotically too long a lot and the threat of Mallett's arm opened up the run game for Blue.
