    Huge Lin upgarde

steady under pressure with a deadly and dependable shot

I'm glad to not be paying for potential

Even "If" Terry wins a championship with Rox this year, I still think the pain and battles he endured with Dirk will make him forever a Maverick.

I have something to confess. I often times do cheer for the Mavs and love their 2011 Championship run. I'm a Rox fan over a Mav but cheer for them when they are the last Texas team standing..... I don't even do that for the Spurs though.

I still hope he's traded, bought out, and resigned to the vet min.

    High hopes?

Why? He's really good and worth the money. The best pure 3pt shooter the team. He'll likely not wanna play right if that happens.

Nice post. Bonus points for using tertiary in a sentence in the GARM (a rare sight indeed!), so say goodbye to gray. ;-)-

for me he was a total brat. my disdain for the Mavs as a franchise made me hate the jet after his 3s. i really just didn't want him here espcially after last season.

I now think if we were to trade him for an "asset" because he is expiring, i'd be disgusted.

Morey needs to add to the bench not trade for assets - we gotta win now not make loser moves.

I have come around 100% on Terry

Salary matching purposes in a trade that lands that third star. Adding Terry to the pot and potentially getting him back is much more preferable than using K-Pap to match salaries and having no shot at getting him back.

I hated bobby sura. With a passion. I hated that slim shady knock off. I hated the fact that he tried to secure a triple double by shooting on his own basket to get a rebound.

Then he comes to houston and he takes steve Francis number 3 jersey. I damn near wanted to punch him for that.

Then he eventually won me over by his play. Can't remember what sealed the deal for me.

I am waiting for Jason terry to do something to win me over. Yes the timely 3's are nice. But there needs to be something in game to happen. What? I don't know what it would be.

Great pickup. It's only been eight games but he's surpassed my highest expectations for him by far already.

If he can play at least 65 games and be healthy for the playoffs we are a much better team.

All we need from him is a one or two timely threes a game.

Jason Terry is the anti-Rafer Austin. Rafer didn't have a super low shooting percentage, but he had a habit of clanking the critical shoot, the potential game changer, horrible timing. Terry doesn't shoot 60% but it seems like it. He seems to always hit the game changer, the clutch basket, the big shot.
