    Hypothetical food for thought:

How would you guys feel if Morey went crazy with a trade package to bring in Rondo.

We win a little battle of recognition. Maybe get a few more national games picked up. Rondo ends up being good, but the move still leaves the Rockets with holes in their roster, and then a few weeks into the season we find out the Hawks are making Al Horford available?

Just saying... I hope Morey isn't painting himself in a corner as much as 99% of the CF posters seem to be doing.

None unless we trade Harden. The one thing that makes Harden elite is his ability to draw fouls while driving to the basket. He needs the ball in his hands more than any other SG to be successful. Any PG will be marginalized while playing next to Harden.

Those guys get different amounts as their max. Bledsoe would be the smallest I believe?

He is also the most talented player of the younger bunch, and so I have opted for him. Only concern is his knees, but to pilfer all star talent you need to take a risk. I think it would be worth it.

This has been hashed out elsewhere.... plenty of touches to go around, no issue there at all. Would benefit Harden and not limit his ability to get to the line.

Valid point to factor into the equation... If you think that none of these options are going to get us to the promised land... if you think the money is better spent elsewhere... then decline 'em all.... Personally, I'm figurin grab Dragic or Rondo and then go over the cap to retain PBev...

    Any.

We need one more piece and we won't need cap space after that.

Pony up, pay the tax and lets roll.

I thought about including the mx contract amounts that each would be in line to get... but then figured why add it in, when ANY of them (on a max deal)would push us beyond the cap and limit us to retention, trades or min contracts...

Love how he gets mentioned during every International tournament.
One of my favourite players ever, sadly many people don't get to watch him because he never appeared in the NBA.

I respect your opinion, but I feel you are over rating him.

We need a starting PF just as much as a starting PG. Dragic isn't a max player,(if max means 18M or more a yr) but he is the best all round player of the lot and is worth Parsons like money on a 4yr contract. I would like to seem him back in Houston. I like Bledsoe's upside, but his injury history is concerning. Rondo for his expiring contract, would be ok with me provided if we don't sell the farm for him.

I voted before reading whatever was said about giving up 3 draft picks. Oh well.

He turns the ball over more than Lin and has played only 1841, 464, 1553 and 1416 minutes in his 4 seasons. He played the most minutes in his rookie season in 2010-11 before all the injury problems.

Yes, and I don't agree. It's not about having enough touches. It's about Harden having the ball most(75% or so) of the time to start the offense so he can decide when/if to attack the basket, shoot a jumper or pass the ball for a layup/dunk or catch and shoot jumper. If a PG has the ball he makes those type of decisions, before getting the ball to Harden probably with 10 seconds or less on the clock. Really not enough time to make a good decision, so he would probably end up shooting a jumper or rushing a drive before a pick was set and end up turning the ball over.

    Interesting results thus far...

I'm shocked that over 40% wouldn't want Morey to pull the trigger for ANY of them, with the promise of a long max contract... (I figured it would be at about 20-25%)
I guess the 'make the trade now' contingency is a little more vocal on the boards than their counterparts, giving a skewed perception...

I would say I expected Bledsoe to have a stronger showing, given the potential upside... but some of his supporters may have Dragic or Rondo as a higher preference, resulting in a lower vote total for Bledsoe... but AT LEAST 40% say no to Bledsoe...

Rubio is about where I figured... lol... So 3 picks going out and a max deal, would send 93% of the board into a tizzy...lol. Now if Rubio turns into the next Stockton, won't most of us feel foolish... ;)

Rondo if he's healthy of course. The team as we always say lacks veteran experience deep into the season and he is a veteran with a championship.
