If only Morey knew how to work his assets. What might have been ...

I am a big fan of the prospects of getting either of the Big 4 available PGs.

In regard to Rondo, there are multiple advantages....

    1. Although a poor 3 pt and FT shooter, he does have a shooting sweet spot (Mid range game is fairly strong although obviously that does not play to our strength).
    2. Championship pedigree. Was an impact player on championship teams.
    3. Attitude... We may need it.
    4. Ability to be an offensive coach and creator. This is BADLY needed in the playoffs.

Love the idea of Rondo if we can get him..... Jones+NOP pick+expirings for Rondo is probably something I would do as long as Rondo was signing an extension.

Hate to say it... T Jones, (maybe bev as well) Gee, 1st Rd pelicans pick

Rondo is that good. He would help take this team to WCF finals (at least... if healthy too)

    I couldn't agree more....

That attitude folks are so concerned about ....Well, he plays with one much moreso than having one off the court.....and you're absolutely right..This team needs that from someone with the aforementioned Championship pedigree..Rondo commands instant respect out there....a leader.

Like you said, whereas we had Parsons as a bit of a facilitator, last year...a point forward if you will..RR will get the ball to Dwight at the precise moment he has his man pinned. He'll be giving Harden so many open looks and layups..This guy is an elite floor general that will have people where they are supposed to be and he'll find them....in the flow...YES, we'll actually have a cohesive flow out there..This is such a big component that is lost upon many. It transcends this knock about not shooting the three...That's not his job. RR' skillset is a rare one..

And, of course he is a defensive monster. While I have the utmost respect for Bev, Rajon is simply on another level. He may not quite be what he was, but 90% of that (one of the greatest PG's of all time), is what this team needs NOW.

He has a real good midrange game and he is a FINISHER.

And then there is the matter of running the break.....

I know some question his health, and with good reason....but, my understanding is that the risk/ reward in that area is totally acceptable. He should be good to go.

And again, Ainge should have made the move last year, rather than thinking they were going to win anytime soon...The price has gone down...

Rondo wants to play for a contender, not for Sac.....Now, what do you all think that means?

Rondo can get Dwight all kinds of open looks. Remember Rondo can even make a player like Kendrick Perkins look useful.

I think Lin was a perfect backup. He was an attacker, and when he was playing confident, he played very well. When he started second-guessing, he crashed and burned. Whatever, he is gone, good luck to him elsewhere.

I don't really have an issue with keeping Beverly as our starter, but if Rondo, Dragic, Paul, Curry, Rose, Parker. I consider them the proven top PGs. Most of whom we have zero chance of acquiring. The two we do, I wouldn't mind getting rid of some prospects to do so.

I would consider adding Bledsoe that list, MAYBE Rubio, but someone would have to convince me on that. Shooting is nice, but running the floor, assists, and defense is what we need.

I'm with Clutch on this. Do you really want to trade assets or offer him a max deal in 2015 for a guy that can't shoot and is coming off knee surgery. I think the Rox need a PF with range like LMA, West more before you throw money at Rondo.

He's a great defender and he was big in the NBA finals but that was a long time ago.

I agree with TJones, NOP, and expirings would be just fine, but is he a good fit for this team?

He played 30 games last year. Did you watch any of them? I didn't. But the consensus was that he didn't look good.

I still think he didn't played a lot of them games because they wanted to lose a lot of games for the lottery and when he came back they were actually decent and winning some games

Celtics should do a T Jones for Rndo trade, because T Jones is better than both Bass and Sullinger.
