Harden with the grown-up talk rustling the jimmies of the children I see.

Don't worry, your balls will drop soon and you will all be pushed to manhood where Harden's statement will ring true and you will understand.

i'm sure part of it has to be the contract parsons got, which is pretty close to what harden makes. parsons ain't on harden's level, nor does he have the potential to be.

What specifically did I say that didn't happen?

It's been popular to hate on Harden especially after that 12 minute no defense video.

He obviously struggled shooting the ball in the playoffs, but everything else in his game was there.

A role player that doesn't know he is a role player is a detriment to the team.

See Chandler "best small forward in the series" Parsons. Coddling the absurdity was the mistake this franchise made.

Men should never say they're offended or show insecurity.

Parsons was a ad defender himself last year. Harden is a true superstar though, hater.

First team All-NBA and top 5 in MVP voting.

I think the quote underestimates what Parsons did for the team last year. And, I'm afraid his absence is really going to show next season.

I also don't really think it's a good attitude to take in competing in a team sport. Beyond hurting his teammates' feelings (whatever), it makes me think he may not understand how teams work. Can you imagine something like that coming out of Tim Duncan's mouth?

What? His defense in the playoffs was bad.

If Duncan, Parker and Ginobili have this kind of attitude

If Duncan, Parker and Ginobili have this kind of attitude, "role players" or "Pieces" like Leonard, Mills, Diaw would not have helped demolished the Miami Heat. By the way, damn!! that "piece" - Leonard won the Final MVP. Something was not right there.

Harden needs to shut the hell up and play defense like a man. Anything he says is irrelevant unless he shows a commitment to winning, like Dwight has done already.

As long as he's cool shouldering the blame when things don't go well, I'm ok with this.

All talk at the moment. Talk does not equal attitude.

I agree with you. Posters that agree Harden did no wrong are very immature or have never led before in my opinion.

Yes. Where you stand on this very important topic determines if you are a real man.

An overpaid athlete who played badly when it counted (playoffs) and who doesn't play defense refers to himself as a cornerstone and to others on his team as replaceable.

Not a good look for a supposed team leader in a team sport.

    Nope.

Role players (especially those that are young or in their prime) go where the money is. They know that they have at best a dozen years to make as much money as possible.
